Term of Office: 2022-2025 

Mayor Jacobson is currently serving his third term as Mayor. He was first appointed to the City Council in 1999 and elected to three terms on Council and served as Council President from 2012 to 2014. He has served on the Post Falls Parks & Recreation Commission and the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency. He has served on the boards of various community and non-profit organizations. He attended North Idaho College and received a B.S. in Accounting from University of Idaho. He moved to Post Falls in 1980 from Coeur d’Alene. He recently retired after a 44 year career in banking. Ron and his wife Susan have four children and six grandchildren.
